Wildlife Adventure

If you find yourself at a loose end on a sunnier February day, why not head to Newport’s own nature reserve. Newport Wetlands visitor centre is ideal for children and families. Guided walks and children’s activities are available, encouraging families to take a closer look at the reserve. Drinks and a bite to eat can be enjoyed in the café afterwards and don’t forget to browse in the gift shop.

Kids will love being out with the wildlife and they’ll probably come away from the Wetlands having picked up some new knowledge.

The wetlands are free to explore for both adults and children.
